Get rid of gophers with these three simple tactics.
Stones
Place big patio stones measuring about 1 foot in diameter on the center of your lawn. Using a shovel or a large straight stick or log which you can handle, pound on this stone for about three minutes daily. Repeat this for the next three days. The vibrations will drive away the gophers. Do explain your activity to your neighbors so they will not call the authorities upon seeing your weird behavior.
Ammonia
Mix a cup of ammonia and two gallons of water. Pour this mixture into the gopher hole then cover the hole with dirt. You can repeat as needed.

Sonic Spikes
Sonic spikes emit sonic pulses that repel gophers. You don't need to use poison because sonic pulses alone irritates gophers within a 15,000 square-foot vicinity.
